Fresh food accessibility program for urban neighborhoods that lack a local market →

So this isn’t funny or relevant to any of my other tumbls but I did a project like this for an environmental planning class, and I like their idea even better. In cities where not everyone owns a car and there’s little grocery retail within walking distance (the economy sucks and no business owner wants to locate to the center city) the logistics of eating healthy are almost impossible. Add plenty of mcdonalds and it’s not surprising why children develop type II diabetes. I guess it’s not even especially environmentally related, maybe I’m supposed to be doing public health instead.
